Self-operated pressure control valve is the executive product that depends on the medium's own energy to autonomously control the valve. The most important feature of this product is that it can be used in locations without gas or power, while saving energy.

Anywhere within a specified range, the pressure set value can be changed at will. Self-operated pressure control valves can be classified into two categories: upstream pressure stabilization type and downstream pressure stabilization type.

The open-pressure type of action is employed for the control valve that is used to regulate the upstream pressure. According to the operating principle, the medium enters the valve body and exits after being throttled by the valve seat and valve core. In order to reduce and stabilize pressure, the other way is introduced to the actuator via the pressure tap (when the medium is steam, add the condenser). This acts on the diaphragm, so that the valve core will be displaced accordingly. The force acting on the diaphragm increases as upstream pressure rises. When the downstream pressure reaches the desired level, it will cause the valve to open wider by compressing the spring and driving the valve core.

The force acting on the diaphragm also diminishes as the downstream pressure drops. The spring's reaction force pushes against the valve core, forcing it to close the valve until the upstream pressure reaches the desired level. The valve will always be in the closed condition if the upstream pressure is less than the preset value.
